I am liability insured, which many venues now require, I have over twenty years of experience in providing music entertainment, lighting, and emcee services to happy clients all over Northeast Ohio, and I provide backup equipment (on premises) in the event of unexpected equipment failures.

This may not seem important to you at the moment, and I am not trying to use scare tactics to frighten you.  I am, merely, pointing out a REAL problem that exists in the
Disc Jockey field, today.

What happens if you hire a DJ that doesn't provide backup equipment?

If their system fails, for any reason, your party is over... period!

Some companies will say that they have backup equipment but in many of those cases it will take considerable time for their boss to swing by with it, as they don't generally have the equipment on the premises.

BEFORE You Sign a Contract

Do you offer a written contract?
Will you be the DJ at our wedding reception or party?
May we meet with you, in person, before we sign a contract?
Are you insured? Can you supply me with proof of liability?
Do you provide backup equipment on the premises? If your prospective DJ answers "NO" to any of the above questions, you shouldn't consider hiring them for your event.
